Some successful photography at today's wedding in Barrow, Suffolk, albeit between the showers. Lovely venues and a beautiful bride.
Sarah commented; 'Everyone is so impressed with the photos!'

A smashing wedding today at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel, Cambourne, and some nice formal pictures in the grounds.
Jon and Matt's Civil Partnership
Posted on: 26 Aug 2010 by: D Stuart Photography
I have just returned from this civil partnership ceremony in York which went well apart from dreadful weather. Jon and Matt chose Burn Hall hotel which was a terrific venue with lovely grounds, and we were lucky enough to have just a few short dry spells in order to get some nice pictures outside. This was followed by a great evening party and a lot of dancing!
Jon commented 'Doug, thanks so much for all your hard work. We had a great day and the pictures are fantastic!'
Melanie and Kevin's Wedding in Abington
Posted on: 24 Aug 2010 by: D Stuart Photography
Today I have been at The Temple Conference Centre Abington, Cambridgeshire, for Melanie and Kevin's wedding. I was asked to take a large number of group portraits in the beautiful grounds of The Temple, before moving to the marquee at the back for a superb dinner. I was particularly pleased with the available light shots of the bride just before the service.
Uma and Amyas's Wedding in Cambridge
Posted on: 21 Aug 2010 by: D Stuart Photography
Very unusual wedding today, Uma and Amyas's Christian wedding at St Andrew's Church Chesterton, Cambridge, was followed by a Hindu wedding service at Swynford Paddocks Hotel. This being my first Hindu wedding it was a particularly interesting experience and made for some colourful photo opportunities. We were also lucky enough to get some good lighting and good portraits at the church.
Uma and Amyas said that they were very pleased with their pictures.
Mark and Tara's Wedding Photography in Cambridge

Back to Cambridge registry office again today for Mark and Tara's wedding. We were blessed with un-forecast good weather for pictures at Castle Hill before moving onto The Galleria restaurant on Bridge Street.
Tara commented; 'When you add the word wedding to most things it automatically doubles the price, but not with the wedding photography of Douglas Stuart. We still got the excellent service and high quality photographs we wanted from our big day but at a price which did not break the bank.'
Laura and David's Wedding
Posted on: 8 Aug 2010 by: D Stuart Photography
Yesterdays wedding was a lovely affair in spite of some poor weather. The reception was held in a magnificent marquee which proved very useful for the formal pictures, most of which had to be taken indoors. Some unusual highlights included a stretch Hummer as the bridal transport, the symbolic release of doves, and an extraordinary, emotive song from the brides step dad. Definitely a memorable wedding.
Laura commented; 'I am really pleased with the photos thank you so much.'
